Botox® / Xeomin®
Botox® / Xeomin®
Botox and Xeomin® are a simple, nonsurgical, physician-administered treatment that can temporarily smooth moderate to severe facial lines (“wrinkles”). They reduce the activity of the muscles that cause wrinkles to occur over time. The beauty of these treatments is that they are simple, quick, non-surgical procedures. A few tiny injections, and within days there can be a noticeable improvement in facial lines that can last up to 6 months. And there’s no recovery time. You can even do it on your lunch break.
Our physician will administer several tiny injections of BOTOX® or Xeomin® directly into the muscles that cause frowning, creating wrinkles. We will determine where to administer the injections by examining your ability to move certain muscles. An improvement can be seen within days and may last up to 6 months, although results may vary. In clinical trials, nearly 90% of men and women surveyed rated the improvement in the appearance of frown lines between their brows as moderate to better 1 month after treatment. No anesthesia is required, although we may choose to numb the area with a cold pack or anesthetic cream prior to injecting. Discomfort is usually minimal and brief.
Treatment For Excessive Sweating
Hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating, is a common disorder which produces a lot of unhappiness. An estimated 2%-3% of Americans suffer from excessive sweating of the underarms (axillary hyperhidrosis) or of the palms and soles of the feet (palmoplantar hyperhidrosis). The condition can be due to an underlying health condition, or have no apparent cause.
The easiest way to tackle excessive sweating is with an antiperspirant, which most people already use on a daily basis. Most antiperspirants contain aluminum salts. When you roll them onto your skin, antiperspirants form a plug that blocks perspiration.
Another treatment option for heavy sweating is injections of botulinum toxin A (Botox), the same medicine used for wrinkles. Botox Injections is FDA-approved for treating excessive sweating of the underarms, but some doctors may also use it on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. Botox Injections works by preventing the release of a chemical that signals the sweat glands to activate. You may need to have several Botox injections, but the results can last for almost a year.
Dysport
Dysport
Dysport is an injectable that temporarily paralyzes certain muscles in the forehead so they can’t move, preventing the formation of wrinkles.
It can also soften existing lines over time. Like Botox, Dysport uses a type of botulinum type A to stop muscle movement.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does dysport take to wear off?
Botox Injections usually takes a few days to a week to show real results while Dysport may present visible changes a bit sooner in some people. Botox Injections then typically lasts three or six months, with Dysport showing similar longevity.
What is the difference between Botox and Dysport?
Dysport and Botox Injections are both types of botulinum toxin injections. While used to treat muscle spasms in certain health conditions, these two injections are primarily known for the treatment and prevention of wrinkles. The differences lie in thepotency of trace proteins, which can make one more effective than the other.
How often should I get Dysport?
How often can I get injections of Dysport? You should wait at least 90 days between Dysport treatments. The safety of Dysport has been studied in up to 12 repeated treatments. Clinical studies demonstrated continued efficacy with up to four repeated treatments.

Kybella
Kybella
KYBELLA® is a prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.”
It is not known if KYBELLA® is safe and effective for use outside of the submental area and in children less than 18 years of age. If you’re bothered by the fullness beneath your chin, you’re not alone.
According to a 2015 survey conducted by the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, 67% of people said they are bothered by the fat beneath their chin, or what your healthcare provider may refer to as “submental fullness associated with submental fat.”
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Kybella safe?
Are Kybella injections safe? Kybella injections are entirely safe, but the accompanying safety guidelines must be adhered to. Kybella is FDA approved for the treatment of submental fat (fat below the chin), and is not yet cleared by the FDA for use in any other part of the body.
How long does Kybella last for?
Unlike Botox, which yields results that last for up to six months in as few as four days, Kybella results are noticeable at four to six weeks and last for years, which means that touch-ups shouldn’t be needed. As for side effects, expect swelling and bruising that start to fade within three days of treatment.
How long does Kybella take to heal?
For most, Kybella swelling doesn’t last long. Your swelling will typically peak about 20 to 28 hours after your procedure, and will likely go away after 48 hours. On rare occasions, you can experience swelling for longer, but it really depends on the dosage you receive and your particular skin.
AquaGold
AquaGold
AquaGold is one customized vial mixed with everything you need to solve those skin shortcomings. Attached to the vial is a series of 20 needles, each smaller than a strand of hair. The needles are coated in gold, which creates less chance of irritation or allergic reaction.
Most importantly, they are hollow, so they transport the carefully concocted contents of that vial underneath the skin for maximum efficacy. With time collagen and elastic fibers in the skin breakdown, and the quality and appearance of skin appears drier, rougher, less firm and healthy. While skincare products and traditional facials treat the skin surface to help with these changes, AquaGold Booster treatments restore skin health and beauty from within by Microneedling with super fine hollow 24-karat gold needles and delivering into the skin our platinum blend of ingredients that hydrate the skin, reduce pore size, and smooth fine lines for a fresh and glowing appearance.
Lipotropic Injections
Lipotropic Injections
All of the compounds in the MIC (Lipotropic)shots are naturally occurring in the body.
L- Methionine is one of eight essential amino acids that are the building blocks for proteins but which cannot be produced in the body. Aside from injection or ingestion as a supplement, L-Methionine can be found in meats and diary products, as well as spinach, potatoes, Brazil nuts and sesame seeds. L-Methionine is useful in the treatment of liver disease and is a recommended supplement for vegetarians.
For weight management, L- Methionine helps the body process and eliminate fat. It is a required amino acid in the production of cysteine and taurine, which help the body eliminate toxins.
Inositol is a carbohydrate, but is not considered a sugar, and was once considered a member of the vitamin B complex, however, since the body is able to synthesize it, it is not a classic vitamin. It is also found predominantly in fruits such as cantaloupe and oranges, as well as bananas, kidney beans, raisins, and peanuts.
In the management of weight, inositol, when used in combination with other B complex vitamins, helps the liver break down fats in the body, and when used in combination with other compounds in a MIC injection, especiallycholine, inositol forms lecithin which is known to aid in the metabolism of fat.
Choline is considered an essential nutrient that, while produced in the liver, is generally not produced in sufficient quantities.Like inostiol, it is often grouped within the B complex of vitamins, although it is not a true B vitamin.Choline is required in the regulation of the kidneys, liver and gallbladder.
As part of a weight loss program, choline is essential for fat metabolism, it functions as a methyl donor and it assists detoxification reactions in the liver. Soybeans along with eggs are two of our best choline-based food sources, as well as beef liver, cauliflower, tofu and almonds.
The components of a MIC injection, especially inositol and choline, have been found to improve mental function, improve feelings of depression, and as part of a successful physician supervised VLCD weight loss program, MIC injections are typically given weekly for the duration of the program.
